A Passito obtained from Verdicchio grapes grown in purity. These grapes are left to dry in the vineyard, with yields kept very low and attacked by noble rot. The harvest takes place in a gradual manner, and the grapes, once transported to the Garofoli cellar for vinification, are delicately pressed. Subsequently, a slow fermentation of 40 days begins in 225 liter French oak barriques. Maturation then continues in small oak barrels for 18-24 months, followed by a further year in glass after bottling.

It appears in the glass with a typical golden color with amber reflections. The perfume offers subtle and layered notes, initially fruity which then develop into spicy and floral touches. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with a sweet taste balanced by an evident fresh note.

Ideal to be enjoyed paired with a selection of mature or sweet cheeses.

Winery history
La Garofoli is a family-run company that has been part of Marche viticulture for generations. The company's official website presents the business as "Italian estate since 1901" and describes a family history developed over multiple generations; other specialized sources and technical datasheets report references to the family's activity as early as the late 19th century and to commercial production in vintages predating the 1900s. The company subsequently evolved with facilities in Castelfidardo and vinification structures for Verdicchio in the Serra de' Conti area, and expanded its presence with wines from Conero and other local appellations.
Production philosophy
Combines tradition and innovation: promoting native grape varieties, respecting the land and adopting integrated, sustainable agricultural practices. The estate emphasizes grape quality, experimentation with maturation techniques, and a commitment to integrated production protocols.
Terroir and vineyards
