The Rioja Reserva "170th Anniversary - Vertical" by Marqués de Murrieta is an extraordinary tribute to the legacy and excellence of one of the most historic and prestigious wineries in Spain. Celebrating the 170th anniversary of its founding, Marqués de Murrieta presents a vertical selection of Rioja Reserva, offering wine enthusiasts the unique opportunity to explore the evolution and depth of this wine across different vintages.

A vertical of Marqués de Murrieta's Rioja Reserva is not only a journey through time, but also an exploration of the quality consistency and adaptability of this winery in the face of changing conditions year after year. Each bottle selected for this special collection represents a chapter in the history of Marqués de Murrieta, highlighting how viticulture and winemaking techniques have evolved to better reflect the unique character of Rioja terroir.

The Marqués de Murrieta winery, founded in the mid-19th century, is recognized for setting the standard for Rioja wines, combining tradition and innovation to produce wines that are at once classics and contemporary expressions of the region. The vertical selection of the Rioja Reserva "170th Anniversary" includes wines that have been aged in oak barriques, an approach that contributes to the complexity and structure of the wine, enriching it with notes of spices, vanilla and tobacco, in addition to ripe fruit and touches balsamic flavors that characterize the best Riojas.

Tasting these bottles in sequence allows you to appreciate not only the subtle variations linked to the specific climatic conditions of each vintage but also the surprising ability of these wines to develop complexity and nuance with aging. Tannins soften, flavor profiles are enriched, and the already remarkable depth of flavor intensifies, offering an unparalleled tasting experience.

The "170th Anniversary - Vertical" is ideal for wine lovers who wish to discover the history and evolution of Marqués de Murrieta's Rioja Reserva, or as an exceptional gift that promises to be a point of reference in every collector's cellar. Accompanying these bottles with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game or mature cheeses, will enhance their qualities, making every sip an unforgettable moment.

With this vertical selection, Marqués de Murrieta not only celebrates its anniversary in style but also reaffirms its role as a leader in the production of Rioja wines which are true oenological treasures, capable of passing through time while maintaining their identity and quality flawless.
