The Rosa dei Frati DOC from Ca' dei Frati is a refined rosé that captures the essence of the indigenous grape varieties of Lake Garda. Produced mainly from Groppello grapes, complemented by Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera, this wine stands out for its freshness and vibrancy.
The winemaking process begins with gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, thereby preserving the fruity and floral aromas. Rosa dei Frati presents itself with a delicate blush pink color, which preludes an intriguing bouquet of fresh red fruits, notes of cherry, and subtle floral hints.
On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with lively acidity that makes it particularly delightful to drink. The red fruit notes make their way through a structure that reveals surprising complexity for a rosé, with a persistently aromatic aftertaste.
