Canadian Club Whiskey is a Canadian spirit that was born in 1858 from the inspiration of Hiram Walker, a great grain merchant from Walkerville in Ontario. Walter thought of founding a distillery to produce fine brandy, given the high quality cereals that were produced in that area and, above all, the scarcity of local Whiskeys. Over time it became famous all over the world for its unmistakable taste and its extreme softness.
Canadian Club is a blended whiskey produced mostly with rye; it is assembled before aging (3 years in American oak used for the Sherry of Jerez) an indispensable procedure that allows the various spirits to blend in the best possible way and express all their finesse.
In the glass you can admire its beautiful bright gold color. The nose has sweet aromas of aniseed barley candies with scents of freshly mown grass and wild fennel, ending with fantastic nuances of dried fruit. In the mouth it is particularly soft and silky, with sensations of dark spices, dried fruit and honey and a pleasant persistence on the palate.
It is excellent straight or with ice, and is perfect mixed in cocktails or long drinks.
