This wine is the result of exclusively the best bunches of Sangiovese grapes, grown in a vineyard located at a moderate altitude. The winemaking process takes place in steel tanks, ensuring a precise temperature during fermentation and a careful maceration with the skins. After this crucial phase, the wine matures for 24 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.
The result is a wine with a ruby red color and a complex aromatic bouquet that embraces notes of violet, liquorice, cherry, berries, spices, tobacco and leather. The flavor is elegant and velvety, with a perfect balance of citrus aromas, culminating in a fresh and persistent finish.
This wine lends itself beautifully to a variety of dishes, including meat, game and mature cheeses.
