The Pinot Nero from Domaine Neumeyer, coming from the prestigious Schaefferstein area in Alsace, represents the elegance and refinement typical of this grape variety. Grown on mineral-rich soils, the wine stands out for its harmonious structure and soft tannins, accompanied by a vibrant freshness that enhances its drinkability. The aging, carried out with traditional methods, imparts an olfactory complexity where delicate notes of small red fruits, cherry, and subtle floral hints emerge, accompanied by light spicy nuances. On the palate, it is enveloping and persistent, capable of enhancing dishes based on white meat, mushrooms, or delicate cheeses. This Pinot Nero best expresses the unique character of the Schaefferstein territory, offering a balanced and highly refined sensory experience, a true emblem of the enological vocation of the Alsace region.

Over time the property has enhanced its local vineyards and begun the transition to organic methods, developing a production focused on expressing the terroir and the individual parcels.
Production philosophy
The work is based on expressing the terroir: organic viticulture practices, hand-harvesting, parcel selection, restrained winemaking with indigenous yeasts, and extended ageing on the lees to preserve the raw material and the personality of the wines.
