Winery history Domaine Neumeyer

Founded by the Neumeyer family in 1925, the estate has been managed by successive generations of the same family. Over time the property has enhanced its local vineyards and begun the transition to organic methods, developing a production focused on expressing the terroir and the individual parcels.

Production philosophy

The work is based on expressing the terroir: organic viticulture practices, hand-harvesting, parcel selection, restrained winemaking with indigenous yeasts, and extended ageing on the lees to preserve the raw material and the personality of the wines.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in northern Alsace, with a significant presence in the Grand Cru Bruderthal. Muschelkalk/marly-limestone soils characterize the terroirs of the communes of Molsheim, Mutzig and Avolsheim.
