The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut DOCG “Brunei” - La Tordera - is produced from a perfect combination of glera, with lower percentages of Bianchetta and Verdiso. The vineyards are located in the hamlet of Colbertaldo, the vines have an average age of 60 years, the predominantly clayey soil gives a special structural aroma to the grapes. As per tradition, the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave, followed by a stay on the yeasts for 5 weeks at low temperature, as per the Charmat method.

Due to its particular and strong personality it is a perfect sparkling wine for informal toasts.

Bright straw yellow in the glass, with a fine and consistent perlage. Fruity aromas rise on the nose reminiscent of green apple, pear and litchi, with floral hints of jasmine, with an aromatic touch of thyme. The taste is harmonious and fruity, the sustained acidity gives it great pleasure and persistence.

It is the perfect sparkling wine to take as an aperitif, ideal with raw seafood, shellfish, vegetarian risottos and fresh cheeses.

Winery history
La Tordera was established as a family-run estate in the hills of Cartizze. The Vettoretti family's history is documented as far back as 1918, when the great-grandfather planted the first vineyards. Over the generations the estate has grown while retaining family management and has consolidated production in the Rive di Valdobbiadene, with investments in the cellar, hospitality and commercial development.
Production philosophy
The company states a "Natural Balance" approach: agronomic practices aimed at respecting the terroir, reducing inputs, attention to energy efficiency, and the use of sustainable materials in the winery. Production is oriented toward enhancing the terroir through technical choices and certifications that attest to its environmental commitment and food safety.
