The Lacryma Christi Del Vesuvio DOC BIO from Munazei - Casa Setaro is a wine that embodies the very essence of the volcanic region from which it hails, elegantly and vibrantly showcasing the peculiarities of its unique terroir. This organic wine is the result of a rigorous selection of grapes, cultivated on the fertile slopes of Vesuvius, where the mineral-rich volcanic soil bestows distinctive characteristics and a surprising complexity to the resulting nectar.

Visually, the Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio presents a bright ruby red color with shades that may shift towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and aromatic, characterized by intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, enriched with hints of spices and a subtle smoky note, an undeniable legacy of its volcanic origin.

On the palate, the wine offers an excellent balance between acidity and tannins, enveloping and smooth, with a persistence that recalls the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose. Its structure is well supported by a mineral freshness that invites another sip.

This Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio is ideal for pairing with Mediterranean cuisine, particularly dishes based on red meat, game, and aged cheeses. It is also an excellent companion for bolder dishes such as those with spices or smoked ingredients, allowing for a fusion of flavors that enhances both the food and the wine.

The choice to produce this wine using organic methods reflects Casa Setaro's respect for the environment and its dedication to preserving the authenticity and quality of its grapes. A true treasure to be discovered by wine lovers who seek a strong story and identity in every sip.
