The Oddero winery is one of the historic realities of Piedmont, with a long tradition of wine production that dates back over a century. The Oddero family is committed to the care of the vineyards and winemaking with the aim of producing wines that reflect the purity of the fruit and the typicality of the terroir.
Dolcetto, literally "little sweet", is a grape variety that, despite its name, produces predominantly dry wines, characterized by a pleasant acidity, soft tannins and a fresh fruity expression. Oddero's Dolcetto d'Alba is no exception, offering a wine of great drinkability and at the same time of substance and structure.
Visually, the wine has a lively ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, Oddero's Dolcetto d'Alba DOC offers intense aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, together with floral notes and a light spiciness. The vinification aimed at preserving the primary aromas of the vine and the refinement in stainless steel contribute to maintaining the freshness and liveliness of the wine.
In the mouth, the wine is harmonious, with a balanced acidity that supports the fruity flavors and guarantees a pleasant freshness. The tannins are soft, making the wine immediately accessible and enjoyable. The finish is clean, with a pleasant return of the fruity flavors perceived on the nose.
Thanks to its freshness and versatility, Oddero's Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is a wine that pairs well with a wide range of dishes, from appetizers to first courses based on meat or mushrooms, up to fresh cheeses and medium seasoning. It is also perfect as a wine to drink on an informal occasion, appreciating its ability to express the joyful character and tradition of the Dolcetto grape.
