The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC by Cordero di Montezemolo represents excellence in Piedmontese wine production, blending tradition and quality in each bottle. Produced on the fertile hills surrounding Alba, this area is renowned for its unique terroir, which allows the Dolcetto grape to express its characteristics to the fullest.
The wine displays an intense ruby red color, tending towards violet with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and complex: notes of cherry, plum, and a slight hint of spices and violet emerge, giving the Dolcetto its typical freshness and vivacity. On the palate, the wine is dry yet smooth, with a pleasantly harmonious balance between acids and tannins, making it extremely drinkable and enjoyable even at a young age.
This Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is excellent for accompanying everyday meals, being particularly versatile: it pairs well with light appetizers, dishes based on red or white meat, and cheeses that are not too mature. It is also ideal as an aperitif, starting the dinner with a touch of Piedmontese elegance.
