Barolo DOCG - Villero - Oddero is a wine that embodies all the excellence and tradition of the Oddero winery, a historic producer from Piedmont with roots dating back to the 18th century. This Barolo comes from the famous Villero vineyard, located in the heart of the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, one of the most prestigious areas for the production of Barolo, known for its limestone and clay soils which give the wines an extraordinary complexity and aging capacity.

The Oddero winery stands out for an approach that combines respect for tradition and attention to innovation, with the aim of producing wines that are a faithful expression of the terroir and the Nebbiolo grape. Barolo Villero is the result of a careful selection of grapes and a careful winemaking and aging process, which includes a period of maturation in large oak barrels to enhance the complexity and elegance of the wine.

At sight, Barolo Villero has an intense garnet red color, with orange reflections that develop with aging. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, spices and touches of tobacco and leather, which reflect the typicality of the Villero cru and the nobility of Nebbiolo.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates great structure and depth, with ripe and well-integrated tannins, which blend into a robust and harmonious body. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to a long tasting persistence and an elegant and persistent finish, with mineral notes that testify to the richness of the Villero soil.

Ideal for accompanying rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Villero di Oddero is also an excellent meditation wine, capable of evolving and enriching itself with new nuances over the years.
