The Primitivo di Manduria DOP "Papale" produced by the Varvaglione winery is a red wine of great expression and depth, ideal for those seeking a unique and enveloping sensorial experience. This Apulian wine comes from a careful selection of Primitivo grapes, famous for their ability to transform into wines of great structure and intensity.

Visually, the "Papale" presents itself with a deep ruby red color, enriched by violet reflections that anticipate its youth and liveliness. On the nose, a complex bouquet emerges in which notes of ripe red fruit stand out, such as plums and cherries, expertly integrated with nuances of vanilla and dark spices, thanks also to the light passage in barrique which further enriches the aromatic profile.

On the palate, the wine reveals itself generously full and harmonious. The tannins are well balanced and blend perfectly with a softness that leads to a long and persistent finish. The aromatic complexity is reconfirmed, leaving room for a pleasant persistence of ripe fruit and spicy hints.

Perfect to serve with robust dishes such as roast red meat, game and mature cheeses, Varvaglione's "Papale", thanks to its structure and balance, is also an excellent meditation companion. Tasting it means exploring the richness of the Manduria terroir, interpreted by the passion and expertise of the Varvaglione winery. A wine that will certainly not go unnoticed among lovers of intense wines with character.
