The Pignoletto DOP Frizzante from Terrerosse represents a lively and sparkling expression of the Emilian hilly territory, where the unique microclimate favors the cultivation of this indigenous variety. In this bottle, we find a wine that stands out for its ability to blend freshness and structure in a harmonious balance.

With a pale straw yellow color and greenish reflections, Pignoletto Frizzante offers the nose a symphony of aromas ranging from green apple to acacia flower, with a slight touch of fresh almond. Its fine and persistent effervescence invites tasting, promising a surprising freshness.

On the palate, this Pignoletto DOP reveals itself as immediately pleasant and harmonious, with a beautiful balance between acidity and an innate sweetness that makes the wine extremely enjoyable and drinkable. The fresh fruit aromas are joined by a delicate sensation of brioche, the result of expert winemaking and brief maturation on the lees.

This sparkling wine is an ideal companion for aperitifs or to accompany light appetizers, fish, or seafood. It is also an excellent protagonist in festive occasions where the toast calls for a cheerful yet sophisticated wine.

Serve cold, at a temperature of 6-8 degrees Celsius, to fully appreciate its qualities and maintain the effervescence that characterizes it. With Terrerosse, you savor a winemaking tradition that continues to amaze with its ability to best express the flavors of the Emilian territory.

Excellent balance between winemaking techniques aimed at preserving aromas and low-impact agricultural practices. Approximately 8 hectares under vine, cultivated using a variety of training systems. National recognitions and international awards reported by the producer.
Winery history
The Lestani family has farmed the land in Cuccana since the late 19th century; Terre Rosse began as a winemaking project when Adamo Lestani, who succeeded his father, planted the first vineyards. The estate developed from 1997 and has since expanded production while maintaining its connection to the territory and low-impact agricultural practices.
Production philosophy
The winery places two pillars at the heart of its work: quality and sustainability. In the vineyard, measures are taken to limit chemical treatments, and in the cellar techniques that preserve the aromas and integrity of the grapes are favored.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the hamlet of Cuccana, in the municipality of Bicinicco, on the Friuli plain, on iron-rich "red soils" that characterize the local microclimate. The estate is situated within the DOC Friuli area and manages vineyards planted at close spacing, using grass cover management to improve soil fertility and aeration.
Awards and recognitions
Recognitions from the main national guides. Recent awards cited by the winery include: the WineHunter Award 2020 with Gold awards for Traminer Aromatico 2018, Merlot 2017 and Vinea Mea Electa 2015; mentions and ratings in Falstaff 2020; and recognitions at Vinoforum and regional events.
