The Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC by Cerreto Piano is a white wine that elegantly expresses the unique qualities of the Maremma Toscana terroir. Produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, this wine stands out for its freshness and vivacity, features that make it perfect to pair with a wide range of dishes, especially those based on fish and seafood.

On the nose, the Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC by Cerreto Piano opens with intense aromas of fresh fruit, particularly dominated by notes of green apple and citrus, followed by more delicate nuances of white flowers that add complexity and depth to the olfactory bouquet. On the palate, the wine presents a fresh and pleasantly acidic attack, evolving into a medium body and a soft texture. The fruit aromas persist, enriched by a slight mineral aftertaste that provides balance and persistence.

Best served chilled, at a temperature of about 10-12°C, the Vermentino Maremma Toscana DOC by Cerreto Piano pairs perfectly with a summer table, offering a taste experience that reflects the flavors and colors of Maremma. It is recommended to pair it with dishes such as spaghetti with clams, baked gilt-head bream with aromatic herbs, or simply as an aperitif.

This wine not only captures the essence of the Tuscan territory but also represents an example of how care and dedication in viticulture can transform into a high-quality product that tells a story of land, climate, and passion.

Winery history
Cerreto Piano is the label associated with Società Agricola Terenzi, an estate based in Montedonico. Ownership and enhancement of vineyards such as Cerreto Piano are part of the Terenzi family project: the estate was founded in 2001 and has developed several named parcels to express the different nuances of the Maremma.
Production philosophy
The winemaking approach aims to respect the land and the grape’s characteristics, favoring non-invasive practices and enhancing the grape variety and the terroir. At the winery, modern technologies are employed to support winemaking without compromising the identity of the wines.
Terroir and vineyards
