The Rosé AOP Côtes de Provence "Le Pas du Moine" by Château Gassier is a wine that exemplifies the elegance and freshness typical of rosés from Provence. This French region is renowned for the production of some of the most refined and sought-after rosé wines in the world, thanks to its ideal Mediterranean climate, its varied soils and its long winemaking tradition which is expressed through careful winemaking practices that respect the terroir.

Château Gassier, located in the heart of the Sainte-Victoire Regional Natural Park, is a winery that is committed to producing wines that reflect the uniqueness of its terroir, with particular attention to sustainability and respect for the environment. "Le Pas du Moine" is a tribute to the nature and history of the region, whose name is inspired by the paths walked by the monks of Mont Sainte-Victoire centuries ago.

This rosé is mainly produced from a selection of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes, vines that help create a perfect balance between body, aroma and acidity. Winemaking is characterized by the use of modern techniques, such as direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation, to preserve the delicate aromas and freshness of the wine.

Visually, "Le Pas du Moine" presents itself with a pale and luminous pink color, typical of Provençal rosés. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of white flowers, fresh red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, and a subtle touch of citrus, which reflect the complexity and elegance of the blend.

In the mouth, the wine surprises with its liveliness and freshness, with a well-balanced acidity that supports its drinkability and enhances its fruity and floral flavors, leading to a clean and persistent finish, with a light mineral note that adds depth and character.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, such as summer salads, fish and seafood dishes, or fresh cheeses, the Rosé AOP Côtes de Provence "Le Pas du Moine" by Château Gassier is an excellent example of the ability of Provençal rosés to combine pleasantness and complexity, offering a refined and harmonious tasting experience.
