Italian Champagne, as Franciacorta is often referred to, is known for its prestigious production method and the excellent quality of its bubbles. The Franciacorta DOCG Satèn by Majolini Winery is a sublime example of this designation, distinguished by a delicacy and finesse that are rarely matched.

This sparkling wine is produced exclusively from selected Chardonnay grapes, sourced from the best vineyards in the Franciacorta area of Lombardy. The term "Satèn" refers to a Franciacorta sparkling wine characterized by an especially fine perlage and low bottle pressure, which imparts a unique silky sensation on the palate.

The production follows the strict traditional method, with bottle fermentation followed by a maturation period on the lees that is never less than 24 months. This provides the Majolini Satèn with notable aromatic complexity, where harmonious notes of ripe white fruits, subtle hints of bread crust, and nuances of almond blend together.

Visually, the Satèn presents a bright straw-yellow color with a very fine and persistent perlage. It is rich and inviting on the nose, while on the palate it stands out for its creaminess, balanced by a fresh acidity and a long, pleasantly mineral finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, Majolini's Franciacorta DOCG Satèn is also an excellent companion for dishes based on fish, seafood, and delicate cheeses. For a true gastronomic experience, try pairing it with a lemon risotto or a sea bass tartare.
