The Letrari winery, founded in 1976, has stood out over time for the production of wines and sparkling wines that best express the characteristics of the Trentino terroir, thanks to the use of innovative techniques in full respect of tradition.
Chardonnay is one of the international vines that has found in Trentino an ideal habitat to express unique characteristics, thanks to the cool alpine climate and the well-drained soils of the region. Letrari's Chardonnay DOC is produced with carefully selected grapes, harvested in vineyards located in the Trentino valleys, where solar exposure and the temperature range between day and night favor the development of intense aromas and a pleasant acidity.
This Chardonnay has a light straw yellow color, with brilliant reflections. On the nose, the wine offers a complex and inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of green apple, peach, citrus and floral nuances, enriched by a light mineral touch that recalls the freshness of the Trentino mountains. Fermentation and refinement in stainless steel allow the freshness and purity of the fruit to be maintained and enhanced.
In the mouth, Letrari's Chardonnay DOC is elegant and balanced, with a good structure and a lively freshness that makes the sip pleasantly harmonious. The acidity is well integrated with the fruity notes, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant clean sensation on the palate.
Perfect as an aperitif, this Chardonnay is also an excellent table companion, capable of accompanying a variety of dishes, from light first courses to fish and white meat second courses, up to fresh and soft cheeses. Its versatility makes it suitable for multiple occasions, from informal dinners to more elaborate lunches.
