The Lagrein Alto Adige DOC 2023 from Terlano is an authentic expression of the elegance and strength that characterize this native grape variety of Trentino-Alto Adige. Deep ruby red with violet reflections, this wine reveals a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a slight hint of chocolate on the nose. On the palate, it is rich and well-structured, with soft, well-integrated tannins leading to a persistent and harmonious finish.
Aged in oak barrels for a period that helps refine its complexity without overpowering the fruity flavors, Terlano's Lagrein is ideal for pairing with robust dishes such as meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
