Barolo DOCG Bussia - Poderi Luigi Einaudi represents a leading label in the production of Barolo, one of the most celebrated Italian red wines internationally. Produced by the historic Poderi Luigi Einaudi winery, founded in 1897 by the first President of the Italian Republic, Luigi Einaudi, this Barolo comes from the renowned Bussia area, in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. The Bussia area is known for its clay and limestone soils, which give the wines remarkable complexity and aging capacity.

Barolo DOCG Bussia stands out for its deep connection with the territory and for the attention to quality that characterizes every phase of production, from the care of the vineyards to the winemaking, up to the aging in wood, which contributes to defining the unique character of this prestigious wine.

Visually, the wine has an intense garnet red color, typical of the great Barolos, with orange nuances that emerge as the wine matures. On the nose, Barolo Bussia exhibits a rich aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, spices, chocolate, and floral and balsamic accents, which blend into an olfactory profile of great elegance and complexity.

In the mouth, the wine offers a solid and enveloping structure, characterized by robust but refined tannins and a well-balanced acidity, which gives freshness and liveliness to the sip. The fruit and spice flavors perceived on the nose are also found on the palate, evolving towards a long and persistent finish, with a distinctive mineral note that reflects the specificity of the Bussia terroir.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, truffle-based dishes, game and mature cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Bussia - Poderi Luigi Einaudi is also an excellent meditation wine, which promises to evolve and be enriched with new nuances in the over the years, thanks to its remarkable structure and complexity.
