The Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC "Occhetti" Magnum in its wooden case from Prunotto winery is a refined and intense expression of the Nebbiolo varietal, cultivated in the prestigious area of Alba, in the heart of Piedmont. Packaged in a Magnum format (1.5 liters) and presented in an elegant wooden case, this wine is an ideal choice both for connoisseurs and as a striking gift.

The "Occhetti" is distinguished by its deep ruby red color with garnet highlights, typical of mature Nebbiolo. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, along with hints of violet, spices, and a slight touch of tobacco and chocolate, deriving from elegant wood aging.

On the palate, it reveals itself to be structured and well-balanced, with fine yet present tannins that promise good longevity. The acidity is well integrated, contributing to a persistent freshness that invites another sip. The olfactory sensations are also found in the mouth, culminating in a long and pleasantly aromatic finish.

Nebbiolo d'Alba "Occhetti" is ideal to accompany red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses. Its structure and complexity beautifully complement rich and flavorful cuisine. To fully appreciate its character, it is recommended to open it an hour before consumption and to serve it at a temperature of 18°C (64°F).

This wine, in addition to being an excellent pairing for a variety of dishes, is also a great choice for those who wish to add a collectible piece to their cellar.
