Barolo Sarmassa by Roberto Voerzio is an emblematic Piedmontese wine that originates from the most renowned crus in the territory of Serralunga d’Alba, the beating heart of the Barolo Denomination. Produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, it stands out for its extraordinary elegance and power, the result of a long winemaking tradition combined with cutting-edge vinification techniques. Winery history

The winery was founded in La Morra in 1986 and has developed as a family-run business. Over the years it has focused production on the most prestigious crus of the Langhe, earning international recognition for its Barolo and other Nebbiolo-based wines.

Production philosophy

Intensive vineyard work, respect for the terroir and very low yields are at the heart of production. In the vineyard, chemical fertilizers are avoided and selective thinning is practiced; in the cellar, winemaking seeks to preserve the purity of the fruit through gentle extraction and a measured use of casks.
