The harvest takes place in the first ten days of October. Fermentation is in thermo-conditioned steel with maceration for 15 days. The refinement in wood, for 12 months in Allier barriques and with a stay in the bottle for 6 months before being put on the market.
A wine that has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections in the glass. The nose is inebriated by the intense fruity aromas of red fruits and undergrowth, from blackcurrants to ripe cherries, followed by delicate sweet aromas of dried figs and notes of chocolate. An elegant and structured red, which combines Calabrian terroir and international character, capable of surprising until the last sip.
This wine, which was born at the end of the 80s and became, from the first moment, the flagship of the company and emblem of Calabria, on the palate it proves to be a soft and moderately warm sip, with hints of red fruits that On the table, they make an excellent pairing with meat, game, roasts and mature cheeses.
