Domaines Schlumberger's Gewurztraminer Cuvée Anne is a tribute to the richness and aromatic diversity that the Gewurztraminer grape variety can offer, especially when grown in the fertile, sunny lands of Alsace, France. This white wine is dedicated to Anne Schlumberger, a central figure in the history of the winery, representing a tribute to her passion and commitment to quality viticulture.

Domaines Schlumberger, known for its sustainable viticulture practices and profound respect for the terroir, grows Gewurztraminer on soils particularly suited to expressing the full potential of this aromatic grape variety. The vineyards, located on steep slopes, benefit from optimal exposure to the sun, which helps ripen the grapes until they reach a perfect concentration of sugars and aromas.

Cuvée Anne is produced with a selection of the best Gewurztraminer grapes, subjected to careful vinification that aims to preserve and enhance the aromatic intensity and varietal typicality. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to maintain the balance between aromatic richness and acidic freshness, followed by refinement which can vary depending on the vintage, to enrich the wine with complexity without overpowering the fruity character.

At sight, Gewurztraminer Cuvée Anne presents itself with a brilliant golden color, which anticipates the olfactory richness of the wine. On the nose, it explodes in an intense and complex bouquet, with dominant notes of exotic fruit, such as litchi and mango, floral accents of rose and jasmine, and spicy nuances typical of Gewurztraminer, such as cloves and nutmeg.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a rich and enveloping body, supported by a lively acidity that balances its natural sweetness. The flavors are a faithful reflection of the aromas, with a long and aromatic persistence that leaves room for a pleasant sensation of freshness and cleanliness in the finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, Gewurztraminer Cuvée Anne is also perfect in combination with aromatic and spicy dishes, Asian cuisine, foie gras and strong cheeses such as Munster. Its complexity and richness make it a versatile wine capable of surprising on different occasions.

With Cuvée Anne, Domaines Schlumberger pays homage not only to a key figure in its history, but also to the authentic expression of Alsace through one of its most iconic grape varieties, offering wine enthusiasts a rich and memorable tasting experience.
