Domaines Schlumberger's Pinot Gris Cuvée Clarisse is an excellent exemplification of this grape variety's ability to express complexity and depth, especially when grown in the rich and varied soils of Alsace. Domaines Schlumberger, with its long history of viticulture in the region and an unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability, produces this wine by carefully selecting grapes from its own vineyards, among the steepest and most difficult to work in Alsace, which give the wine a unique concentration and minerality.

The Cuvée Clarisse is dedicated to enhancing the distinctive qualities of Pinot Gris, offering a wine of extraordinary aromatic richness and a structure that invites pairing with a varied range of dishes. Vinification and refinement are carefully managed to preserve the integrity of the fruit and develop the complex nuances that characterize this wine.

In appearance, Pinot Gris Cuvée Clarisse has an intense golden yellow color, which anticipates the richness of the wine. On the nose, broad aromas of ripe fruit open up, such as peaches and apricots, accompanied by notes of honey, sweet spices and a slightly smoky touch, which add complexity and depth to the bouquet.

In the mouth, the wine offers an extraordinary combination of richness and freshness, with a full palate that expertly balances the sweetness of the fruit with lively acidity. The notes of ripe fruit and honey intertwine with nuances of nuts and spices, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of balance and satisfaction.

The Pinot Gris Cuvée Clarisse is a wine that pairs beautifully with rich and tasty dishes, such as foie gras, fish dishes in a creamy sauce or white meats. It's also an excellent companion to Asian cuisine, thanks to its ability to balance richness and spice.

With the production of Cuvée Clarisse, Domaines Schlumberger once again demonstrates its ability to create wines that not only reflect the exceptional terroir of Alsace, but are also refined and complex expressions of their grape varieties, offering wine lovers tasting experiences of the highest level.
