Sambuca Molinari is a liqueur of Marche origin produced by distilling alcohol flavored with essential oils of star anise, fennel, flowers, sugar and water.

It was 1945, after the Second World War, Angelo Molinari began to produce and distribute this excellent sweet and strongly aromatic liqueur all over the world: Sambuca Extra Molinari.

A product with very ancient origins which owes its name to the plant from which the extract is obtained, the flower of the elderberry, even if the main ingredient is the essential oil obtained from the distillation of star anise which gives it that unique and characteristic.

It is white and crystalline to the eye, the nose is striking with intense aromas of aniseed, licorice and aromatic herbs, all accompanied by the overbearing note of alcohol.

In the mouth it is sweet and fresh, full-bodied, with a long aromatic persistence. A classic and very popular digestif not only in bars but also at home; perfect to accompany and correct the coffee with which it shares many aromatic scents.

It is a velvety liqueur, sweet but not cloying, which can be enjoyed neat or with ice.
