The Sauvignon DOC Collio - Komjanc is a sought-after gem of Friulian viticulture, reaching its highest expression in the hills of Collio Goriziano. This wine perfectly reflects the unique terroir from which it originates: an ideal microclimate and soils rich in marl and sandstone, endowing the wine with a distinctive minerality.

The Komjanc winery, a family-run business with a deep commitment to quality and expression of the land, meticulously oversees every stage of production. The Sauvignon DOC from this winery is the result of a careful selection of grapes, handpicked to ensure the integrity of the fruit and respect for the natural cycle of the vine.

On the nose, the Sauvignon DOC Collio - Komjanc presents a rich bouquet that ranges from ripe tropical fruit to more subtle notes of aromatic herbs and wildflowers, typical of the Sauvignon grape variety. Intrigues of green pepper, melon, and light hints of basil complete the olfactory profile, making it complex and inviting.

On the palate, the wine is vibrant and fresh. Its well-balanced acidity harmonizes with a medium body and a long aromatic persistence that recalls the freshness of just-picked grapes. The finish is clean, with a pleasant mineral streak that beckons for another sip.

This Sauvignon is ideal for accompanying fish dishes, such as seafood crudo or tuna tartare, but it also pairs beautifully with fresh goat cheeses or vegetarian dishes enriched with aromatic herbs. Serve chilled, between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius, to enhance all its nuances.
