Valpolicella Ripasso di Recchia is a red wine born from the skillful vinification of the indigenous grapes of Valpolicella, primarily Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. The "ripasso" process is a traditional winemaking technique of the region, which involves a second fermentation of the wine on Amarone pomace, giving this wine greater body and complexity.

This elegant red wine presents an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, notes of ripe cherry and plum are distinguished, enriched by hints of sweet spices such as vanilla and cocoa, a result of wood aging. On the palate, Valpolicella Ripasso di Recchia appears velvety and well-balanced, with an excellent harmony between acidity and sweet tannins, which blend into a pleasant and persistent aftertaste.

Perfect accompaniment for robust dishes like meat roasts, stews, and aged cheeses, this wine enhances every meal with its rich flavors and deep connection to its region of origin. A jewel of the winemaking tradition of northern Italy, Valpolicella Ripasso di Recchia represents an excellent choice for lovers of intense and layered red wines.

Family-owned winery with a multi-level cellar and tuff aging rooms. Production of typical wines from Valpolicella Classica: Amarone, Ripasso, Valpolicella. White and sparkling wines also produced from vineyards on Lake Garda. Direct sales at the wine shop and wine tourism activities. Internal control of bottling and the production process.
Winery history
The winery is a family-run operation that has converted the family home into a place dedicated to wine: the estate and facilities were renovated to carry out the entire production cycle on-site. Company materials name several family members who are now involved in the business, and over time the activity has expanded through the purchase of vineyards on the shores of Lake Garda for wines such as Custoza and Bardolino.
Production philosophy
The approach blends local tradition with modern technology, focusing on land stewardship, hand-harvesting the grapes and direct oversight of production and bottling. The winery favors wines that express the character of the terroir and are approachable, while also valuing classic techniques such as the appassimento used for Amarone.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate operates in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, with vineyards situated on clayey and calcareous soils at elevations typical of the area. The estate also has vineyards on the eastern shore of Lake Garda for white wines such as Custoza.
