The Veronese Monte Zovo winery makes wine from the grapes of 140 hectares of vineyards owned by the Cottini family. Since 1969, passion and technology have been linked to winemaking knowledge to give life to wines of quality and value, but with very distinct characteristics. Crocevento is made with Pinot Noir grapes whose vinification is carried out in steel, aged in barriques for 12-18 months and in glass for a further 12 months.
When poured it appears pale red in color with slightly orange reflections. The nose is conquered by the scents of undergrowth and red fruits among which plums and ripe cherries stand out. The sip is persuasive and soft, structured, with balanced tannins.
An elegant goblet that is recommended to be paired with prepared meat-based first and second courses, but also with pasta seasoned only with tomato sauce.
