The Metaxa 5 Stars Brandy is a fine expression of Greek distillery art, with a history that dates back to the late nineteenth century. Produced by the renowned Metaxa house, this brandy stands out for its rich taste and aromatic complexity that seduces from the first sip.

Presented in an elegant 70 cl bottle, Metaxa 5 Stars is the result of a skillful blend of wine distillates and a selection of Mediterranean aromatic herbs, including myrrh and anise. The eaux-de-vie that make up the blend mature for a minimum of five years in French oak barrels, which give the liquid a distinctive golden color and a fascinating bouquet.

On the nose, Metaxa 5 Stars reveals notes of ripe fruit such as apricots and figs, enriched by nuances of vanilla and sweet spices. There is also a slight scent of rose petals and chocolate, which add a further dimension to this complex aroma.

On the palate, the sweetness of honey and the round flavor of dried plums introduce a soft and enveloping structure. The discreet presence of oak confers a light dryness and a long, pleasantly aromatic finish, with returns of notes of sweet spices and milk chocolate.

Metaxa 5 Stars Brandy is optimal served neat at room temperature, but also as a base for sophisticated cocktails. It pairs perfectly with chocolate or fruit desserts, as well as aged cheeses, offering a pleasantly complex sip and a memorable tasting experience.
