Rum Zacapa Centenary “X.O.” comes from a blend of the finest rums aged up to 25 years in oak barrels previously used for Bourbon whisky, Sherry and Pedro Ximenez wines.
The last period of aging is carried out in barrels of French Cognac. Thus a rum is produced with great harmony, perfect complexity and finesse.
In the glass it has a dark and intense amber color. The nose perceives a complex, elegant and fruity bouquet of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, with hints of sweet spices and aromas of cocoa and almond. In the mouth the taste is decidedly structured, particularly harmonious and round. It denotes intensity and gustatory richness, long finish with particular sensations of dark chocolate and spices.
