The Barolo DOCG "Falletto" by Bruno Giacosa is a wine that represents one of the highest examples of the expression of the Nebbiolo grape in the Piedmontese Langhe, in particular in the renowned area of Serralunga d'Alba, where the Falletto vineyard is located. Bruno Giacosa, the undisputed master of Piedmontese winemaking, is known for his ability to create wines that combine power and elegance, with a dedication to quality and expression of terroir that has few equals.
This Barolo stands out for its intense garnet red color, with orange nuances that develop with aging. On the nose, "Falletto" offers a complex and layered olfactory profile, with notes of ripe red fruit, dried flowers, spices, tobacco and a light mineral touch, which testify to its richness and depth.
In the mouth, the wine expresses extraordinary elegance, with silky and well-integrated tannins that support a robust and complex structure. The acidity, typical of Nebbiolo, is perfectly balanced, guaranteeing a long tasting persistence and a broad and persistent finish, with a return of the olfactory notes and a pleasant minerality which confirms the high quality of the wine.
