Maison Anselmet's Broblan Cornalin DOC represents an extraordinary exemplification of the oenological potential of the Aosta Valley and, in particular, of the Cornalin grape variety. This distinctive red, produced by the renowned Maison Anselmet, one of the leading wineries in the small but vibrant Aosta Valley wine region, highlights the company's commitment to valorizing native grape varieties and producing wines that express authenticity and terroir.

Cornalin is an ancient vine, characteristic of the Aosta Valley, which enjoys a rebirth thanks to the attention of quality producers such as Maison Anselmet. This vine gives life to wines of notable structure and complexity, with an aging capacity that surprises and gratifies the most demanding palates.

In the production of Broblan Cornalin DOC, Maison Anselmet follows careful and sustainable practices, from the care of the vineyards to the attention in the winemaking and aging processes, to ensure that the wine reflects the best possible expression of the grape variety and its unique growing environment. Aging, typically in oak barriques, helps round out the wine, adding layers of aromatic complexity without stifling the vibrant fruitiness of Cornalin.

Visually, Broblan Cornalin DOC has a deep ruby red color, with purple reflections that anticipate its richness. On the nose, the wine opens with a complex and inviting bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, dominate, enriched with spicy and slightly toasted nuances, as well as a hint of violets which reflects the typical nature of Cornalin.

In the mouth, Broblan Cornalin DOC demonstrates an excellent structure and a surprising balance, with present but finely worked tannins that integrate harmoniously with the natural acidity of the wine. The flavor palette is consistent with the nose, offering a rich expression of red and black fruit, with notes of sweet spices and an aftertaste reminiscent of the mineral and rocky terroir of the Aosta Valley.

Ideal in combination with robust dishes of Aosta Valley and Alpine cuisine, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, Broblan Cornalin DOC is a wine that invites you to discover the authentic flavors of the mountains, offering a unique tasting experience that celebrates diversity and richness of native Italian vines.
