The Pinot Grigio DOP Collio from Colmello di Grotta is born in one of the most prestigious areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, where the hills characterized by soils rich in marl and sandstone favor a unique terroir. The Pinot Grigio grape variety is cultivated, known for its elegance and adaptability, which here fully expresses freshness and complexity. The aging generally takes place in steel, thus preserving its fragrant and vibrant notes.

In the glass, it appears with a bright straw yellow color and intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit, such as pear and golden apple, floral nuances, and a delicate mineral tone that pleasantly accompanies the sip. On the palate, it stands out for the balance between lively acidity and softness, with a clean and persistent finish. Ideal to accompany light dishes of fish, shellfish, and delicate appetizers, this Pinot Grigio embodies the refined winemaking tradition of Collio.
