The Corvina Verona IGT produced by Ca' Nova under the Gorgo label is a red wine of great elegance and finesse, reflecting the typicality of the Veronese territory. This wine is primarily made from Corvina grapes, a native variety that imparts distinctive notes of red fruit and a pleasant acidity to the wine.
With a bright ruby red color, the Corvina from Gorgo reveals an intriguing bouquet of cherries and blackberries on the nose, enriched with nuances of sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla, due to aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with well-integrated tannic structure and a lasting freshness that invites another sip.
The winemaking process follows traditional methods with temperature-controlled macerations to enhance the varietal character of the grapes. Afterward, part of the wine spends a brief period in barriques, which helps to soften the tannins and integrate the various aromatic layers.
