The Cesaruolo d'Abruzzo DOP produced by Ciavolich winery represents a unique and fascinating expression of the Montepulciano grape variety. This wine stands out for its vibrant and intense cherry-red color, a reflection of the special vinification technique called "Cerasuolo," which allows for a rosé with a rich structure and prolonged flavor.

On the nose, Ciavolich's Cesaruolo d'Abruzzo offers an aromatic bouquet ranging from fresh red fruits, like strawberries and cherries, to subtle touches of spices and wildflowers. On the palate, the wine reveals a pleasant freshness and notable aromatic persistence, making it particularly suitable for accompanying Mediterranean cuisine dishes, ideal with light appetizers or fish main courses.

With a balanced ratio between acidity and softness, this Cesaruolo invites to be enjoyed young to appreciate its freshness, yet it also has a good aging potential. It is recommended to serve it cold, around 10°C, to best enhance its organoleptic qualities. An example of how Abruzzese winemaking tradition can express itself with elegance and vibrancy.
