A red that comes from Piedirosso grapes harvested manually towards the second ten days of October and carefully selected. The bunches that arrive in the cellar undergo destemming-crushing, then the fermentation on the skins begins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for a few weeks. The next step is racking and pressing, then it is left to refine for a few months, always in steel. After bottling the wine remains to mature for a further 4 months before being put on the market.
At sight it shows a bright ruby red color, with bright violet reflections. The nose offers intense aromas of red berried fruit, cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry, finely blended with floral aromas of rose and notes of aromatic herbs, as well as spicy hints of black pepper and licorice. In the mouth the taste is soft, in perfect balance and with a good body, with a light tannic texture and a mineral sapidity with great and fresh persistence.
A decidedly territorial wine, elegant and dynamic, easy to match; try the combination with traditional fish dishes.
