Cantina Bertani, an old winery that originated in 1857. Let's talk about who, perhaps, even invented Amarone.

A tradition that arises from the Respect of wines to allow them to develop all their qualitative potential in the best possible way. The musts entrusted to slow fermentations, sometimes even more than 50 days, in concrete tanks. A courageous choice, full of risks, supported in the belief that only in this way are high contents in superior alcohols and glycerin obtained, guaranteeing the richness and elegance of the aromas. Refinements, therefore, never less than 7 years in Slavonian oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle.

The 1967 vintage was absolutely perfect. A year marked by a very rainy spring season, followed by a July and August of drought, alternating with low rainfall in September. A dry and sunny October ended the cycle.

Bottled in November 1983, the emblem of Amarone, a red that has a garnet color in the glass with bright golden reflections, is characterized by extremely complex and seductive aromas. A wine of over 50 years, characterized by a large and elegant bouquet, defined by hints of plum and dried fruit, which in the finish give way to tobacco and dried figs.

On the palate, it denotes a lot of freshness at the first sip, which suggests a very young wine; however this is immediately denied by its complexity, sweetness and the perfect combination of acidity and tannins which are the result of many years of refinement.

An exceptional drink excellent for meditation, to be sipped and tasted slowly, to savor the fundamentals of its roots that have now become a legend.

A bottle of prestige and extreme value, a rare collector's item that will not only enrich your personal cellar, but also your palate.
