Rosso Isola dei Nuraghi IGT Tajanu - Li Duni is born in the enchantment of Sardinia, where the millenary terroir between hills and sea gives the grape varieties a unique and enveloping character. This wine comes from typical island grapes, carefully selected to enhance the richness of the territory and the Sardinian winemaking tradition. The aging takes place in wooden barrels that give structure and softness, enhancing a natural balance between intense red fruits and spicy notes, with hints of Mediterranean scrub that delicately emerge on the nose.

On the palate, Tajanu offers a velvety experience, with well-integrated tannins and freshness reminiscent of the scent of warm earth and rock. Ideal paired with robust dishes of the island cuisine, such as grilled meats or flavorful cheeses, this red expresses itself as an authentic expression of an island that preserves its genuine character through every sip.

Ungrafted vineyards on sandy soils a short distance from the sea. Production focused on Vermentino and native Sardinian grape varieties. Reported total production of approximately 40,000 bottles distributed among a few labels. On-site sales and tastings at the winery with vineyard visits; hand-harvested grapes. Terroir: the hills of Gallura with a maritime influence
Winery history
Cantina Li Duni's production project has been active since 2003 and aims to preserve and enhance the local winemaking tradition of Badesi. The winery revives traditional practices and native grape varieties cultivated on sandy soils, continuing the region's winemaking heritage.
Production philosophy
Practices focused on respect for the land: predominant use of estate-grown grapes, hand harvesting, reduced use of pesticides thanks to sandy soils, and attention to characterizing the wines through indigenous grape varieties and own-rooted vineyards.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated on the hills that slope down towards the Gulf of Asinara, the winery cultivates vineyards on sandy soils near the coast; the maritime microclimate, saline breezes and diurnal temperature range contribute to the wines' sensory characteristics.
