Winery Ciabot Berton

The Oberto family has been connected to the hills of La Morra for generations. The property's documented history begins with the purchase of vineyards in the 19th century and continues with the growth of the family estate over multiple generations. The winery's name comes from a small rural building on the site, a feature that has become a symbol of the estate. The estate later developed a modern winery while maintaining its connection to La Morra's historic crus.

The winery's approach prioritizes the expression of the terroir: parcels are vinified separately to emphasize the characteristics of each cru, with careful attention to the quality and typicity of the grapes. The wines are intended to represent the terroir, the vintage and the family tradition.

All vineyards are located in the crus of La Morra, within the Barolo area. Among the vineyards mentioned by the estate are Bricco San Biagio, Roggeri, Rive, Cappallotti, Rocchettevino and Tre Querce, with exposures and soil types typical of the Barolo hills.
