Winery Domaine Cosse & Maisonneuve

The project was founded by Matthieu Cosse and Catherine Maisonneuve. The official website records the establishment of the estate in 2001; many commercial listings and some third-party sources instead cite 1999 as the year they began operations. Over the years the couple has developed several cuvées recognized for their expression of the Cahors terroir.

Strong emphasis on respect for nature: organic/biodynamic vineyard management, hand harvesting and low‑intervention winemaking. The stated goal is to let the personality of the terroir emerge rather than intervene to alter the wine’s style.
