Winery history Perrier-Jouët

Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded by the Perrier-Jouët family and is documented as far back as the early 19th century. Archives and the official website state that the Maison’s roots lie in the founders’ activities, connected to botany and the arts; at the beginning of the 20th century, a collaboration with the artist Émile Gallé produced the Japanese anemone motif that became the symbol of the celebrated cuvée Belle Époque.

Production philosophy

The maison combines art, nature and wine: care for the landscape, artistic inspiration and the pursuit of finesse in the blend guide production. In recent years Perrier-Jouët has also formalized commitments to regenerative agricultural practices and biodiversity initiatives.

Terroir and vineyards

Épernay, the heart of the Champagne region. The Maison owns and cultivates parcels in the Côte des Blancs and other prized vineyards within the appellation.
