Winery history Pinino (Azienda Agricola Pinino)

The estate's origins go back to the 19th century: the property dates to 1874 and was among the first to be listed in the register of Brunello producers in 1950. Over the years the estate passed through several owners; from 2003 it was run by the Gamon–Hernández couple until its acquisition by the Il Borro group in July 2024.

Production philosophy

Production focused on quality and expression of the terroir: rigorous selection of grapes in the vineyard and careful cellar practices to produce elegant wines representative of Sangiovese di Montalcino. Under Il Borro’s management, a sustainable and regenerative viticultural approach is emphasized.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in the Montalcino area, with vineyards also situated on the northern slope in the Montosoli zone. The soils include galestro and alberese, which contribute to the structure and characteristic acidity of the wines.
