Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses, typical Sicilian dishes
Elegant and slender, A’ Rina Etna Rosso stands out for a clear aromatic profile that recalls ripe red fruits and delicate floral notes, with a hint of subtle spice. The palate is supported by fresh acidity and a fine tannic texture that defines the structure without weighing it down, while a mineral streak of unmistakable volcanic origin adds depth and tension to the palate. The result is a harmonious, medium-bodied wine with pleasant persistence and a character that remains refined. There is also a subtle aromatic tension that invites a more contemplative sip.

On the table it finds ideal companions in land-based dishes: flavorful white meats, simply prepared mushrooms and semi-aged cheeses enhance its complexity. Also excellent as company for an informal dinner, it is appreciated both for immediate drinking and in carefully composed pairings; if consumed young it can benefit from a short decanting to better express its aromas. Serve in moderation to capture its freshness and elegant structure.

Winery history
The winery was re-established by Giuseppe Russo as a tribute to his father Girolamo. According to the company, the estate was reorganized and relaunched in 2005 and works with historic vineyards on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, cultivated using traditional practices and hand-harvested.
Production philosophy
The approach aims to highlight the character of each distinct vineyard site: viticulture practiced close to nature, attention to old bush-trained vines, and winemaking that respects the differences of each vineyard to express the minerality, freshness and complexity of the volcanic soil.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the northern slopes of Etna, with parcels in contrade such as San Lorenzo, Feudo, Feudo di Mezzo and Calderara Sottana. The vines are situated at altitudes of approximately 650–780 meters above sea level and grow on the volcanic, sandy soils typical of Etna's "sciare".
Awards and recognitions
Etna Bianco "San Lorenzo" is listed among the wines awarded Tre Bicchieri in Gambero Rosso's 2026 selection; additionally, several vintages of the winery's labels have received high ratings from specialist publications and guides, as reported in the critical notes.
