A liqueur that originates from an ancient tradition; the meaning of the word Alchermes is cochineal, due to the bright red color that distinguishes it.
A highly used product in confectionery obtained with: ethyl alcohol, water, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, raspberries, rose water and a red dye deriving precisely from cochineal.
