Amaro Gentile by Mazzetti has a measured, inviting aromatic profile. On the nose there are herbaceous notes and light citrus peels, with an underlying sweetness that softens the bitter component without cancelling it; the bouquet remains clear and clean, with a pleasant warming sensation. On the palate it surprises with its balance: the texture is soft but well defined, the bitterness is present but never aggressive, while the finish leaves memories of bitter almond and light spices. The sip is smooth and medium-bodied, suited to those who prefer a refined amaro rather than an extremely rustic one.

It is appreciated both as a digestif after a substantial meal and paired with dark chocolate or citrus-based desserts; it also stands up well in cocktails that call for an amaro of character but restraint. Serve chilled or with an ice cube to highlight the freshness and the clean finish. The 70 cl bottle is practical for home use or for a bar mise en place, ideal for those seeking a gentle, functional take on the classic amaro.
