The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG by Bertani is one of the most representative and appreciated wines from Valpolicella, a historic wine region in Veneto. This wine is an excellent example of how tradition and modernity can merge together to create a superior quality product.

The wine is primarily made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes, handpicked at the optimal point of their ripening and then left to wither for several months to concentrate their flavors and sugars. The long fermentation process and aging in large wooden barrels for about six years contribute to developing an unrivaled aromatic and taste complexity.

In the glass, the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG by Bertani presents a deep, almost impenetrable ruby red color. It opens with intense aromas of ripe fruit, such as plums and dark cherries, enriched by spicy notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is opulent and structured, with a texture of velvety tannins that perfectly integrates with the alcohol and acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of nuts and balsamic notes that invite another sip.

This Amarone is ideal to accompany rich and flavorful dishes such as braised meats, red meat stews, and aged cheeses. It is also a wine that can be enjoyed on its own, meditative, capable of evolving and revealing new facets even many years after the vintage.

It is recommended to decant for a few hours before serving to allow the wine to fully express its richness. The ideal serving temperature is between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius. An exceptional wine, destined to leave a lasting impression on anyone who tastes it.

Non penso sia da descrivere, ma di certo vale la pena mettere una recensione!

l'eccellenza in bottiglia

l'eccellenza fatta in vino. Corposo molto strutturato, con un sapore davvero persistente. Una delle eccellenze a mio parere se volete bere Amarone
