Part of the Marchesi Antinori family and group, with centuries of experience. Vineyards spanning Atlas Peak, featuring volcanic soils and sites above the fog line. Estate of approximately 222 hectares in the southeastern part of Napa Valley. Production is focused on Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay, with small parcels of other varieties. Private tastings and members-only programs.
Winery history
The Antinori in Napa project began with Marchese Piero Antinori’s desire to express the winegrowing potential of the Napa Valley mountains. In 1985 the family acquired its first parcels in the eastern part of the valley and, over time, developed selected sites, transforming the property into a large mountain estate. Today the estate is part of Marchesi Antinori’s global network and produces wines that emphasize the character of its high-altitude vineyards.
Production philosophy
Uniting the Antinori family's winemaking tradition with the distinctive qualities of the New World: enhancing the various mountain vineyard parcels, respecting the land, and pursuing elegance and refinement in the bottles, while offering dedicated experiences for members and visitors by appointment.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located on the eastern side of Napa Valley, in the Atlas Peak/Foss Valley area: vineyards planted on rocky slopes and volcanic soils, situated above the fog line and influenced by cool breezes from San Francisco Bay; some vineyards reach elevations near 600 meters. The published address is 3700 Soda Canyon Road, Napa, CA 94558.
