Cristallo Roero Arneis Riserva, with two years of cellar ageing, shows a riper, more enveloping profile than younger Arneis. In the glass it displays light golden highlights and a bouquet reminiscent of white flowers, ripe pear and a subtle almond note; it is not overly heavy, but already offers pleasant depth and a fuller mouthfeel. The balance between body and freshness is well judged, giving the sip a pleasant roundness without losing lift.

On the palate you appreciate a lively freshness accompanied by sapidity and a persistence that leaves a dry, slightly bitter finish. It’s a white that stands up well to more structured pairings: shellfish, more flavorful fish dishes, risottos and delicate white meats; it also suits soft cheeses. Serve at around 10-12 °C to capture its complexity and elegance, enjoying it both as a table wine and with more gastronomic pairings.
