Asio Otus is a fruity and spicy red wine cuvée made with grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah vines. A wine that defines itself as "enigmatic", complex, with an important, silky structure and a broad aromatic range.
It shows an intense ruby red color when poured. On the nose it expresses intense hints of very ripe red fruit, almost like jam, perfectly balanced by spicy sensations such as vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. In the mouth you can perceive the extraordinary sensation of an important body but perfectly in harmony with the olfactory bouquet.
A very satisfying and highly drinkable varietal that offers light fruity sensations that are lovable but not cloying at all. The recommended pairing certainly sees it combined with meat-based courses.
